Bridge closed

A bridge on Stockade Road, a half-mile west of Highway T, has been closed for a widening project.

According to Lynn Seaver, county road and bridge crew foreman, his crew will widen the 14-foot bridge to 22 feet and construction will take approximately two weeks. Weather delays could extend construction time.

Once the bridge is complete, it will be three weeks before the concrete is cured, and it opens back up for traffic.
