For the second straight week, a Nevada Griffons pitcher has been recognized by the MINK League as co-Pitcher of the Week.

Trent Keefer shared the league honor last week and Sam Hilliard has been named the co-Pitcher of the Week this week. In Nevada's win at St. Joseph last Friday, Hilliard allowed six hits, four walks and one earned run in 5 2/3 innings of work, striking out five in his second victory of the season.

Hilliard is 2-0 on the season with a 2.76 ERA and one save in four games. He pitched for Navarro College.

Hilliard has allowed five runs -- four earned -- on 16 hits with 14 strikeouts and one walk in 13 innings.

Griffons infielder Tanner Glore is the MINK League Player of the Week this week. The Western Illinois Leatherneck is batting .370 with 17 hits in 46 at-bats this season and has scored 13 runs, driven in three and has three doubles, two stolen bases and five strikeouts.

Glore has walked seven times and has been hit by a pitch twice.
