Bonae June Losey

Bonae June Losey, 80, Nevada, Mo., passed away Aug. 24, 2013, in Nevada.

She was born July 12, 1933, in Iola, Kan., to John William Rawlings and Clara Belle Crouch Rawlings. She married Murl E. Losey on April 30, 1954, he preceded her in death in December 1986.

Bonae was raised in Harwood, Mo., and graduated from El Dorado Springs High School in 1950. After high school she married Murl and together they owned and operated Nevada Auto Center Inc. She also enjoyed her work at Dress Code.

She is survived by three children and one brother: one son, Gary Losey and his wife, Evelyn, Baton Rouge, La.; two daughters, Brenda Bazil and her husband, Butch, Ottawa, Kan., and Janet Palmer and her husband, Bob, Nevada; one brother, Robert Rawlings and his wife, Junetta, Kansas City, Mo.; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, Christen Losey-Gregg and James, Crystal Losey-French and Brad, Megan Bowling and Ryan, Jarrod Bazil, Levi Palmer, Grace Palmer, Cecil Gregg, Cora Mae Gregg, Emma Bowling, Kate Bowling, and Baby French. She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; and siblings, John Rawlings Jr., Levi Rawlings, and Virginia Shepherd.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 31, at Green Mound Cemetery, Harwood, Mo., with the Rev. Dennis Painter officiating. Visitation will be held Friday, Aug. 30, from 6-8 p.m., at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada. Friends may call now and until 9 a.m., Saturday, at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada.
