Ozarks Food Harvest mobile food pantry will arrive at First Baptist Church, in Nevada, to distribute food to qualifying residents 10 a.m., Oct. 29.

"Last November, the mobile food pantry came to Nevada and served 125 families," Terra Lamb, Ozarks Community Outreach coordinator said.

This time, the pantry expects to serve approximately 250 families. Individuals must provide a valid photo ID, proof of Vernon County residency (current bill), and a current pay stub, or other financial documentation, to show income eligibility.

Clients should bring their own containers to hold food.

Nevada Community Outreach has partnered with Ozarks to help qualify residents.

The distribution of approximately 15,000 pounds of food comes from a $1,000 donation to Ozarks Food Harvest from U.S. Bank. Nevada U.S. Bank employees will serve the groceries.

Since 2008, the food bank has provided eight mobile distributions in Nevada. The regional food bank also provides food and services to Nevada Community Outreach.

For more information, all Ozarks services at 417-380-5007.
