Annual Christmas Food Drive underway at high school

Wednesday, November 20, 2013

The Christmas Food Drive at Nevada High School is underway and will last through Friday, Dec. 13. The food items will be donated to Community Outreach to make Christmas baskets for Nevada families in need.

The food items should be taken to the following teachers' classrooms: freshmen to Mrs. Diehl and Mrs. Allard, sophomores to Mrs. Barber and Mrs. Dryer, juniors to Mr. Norton and Mrs. Sudkamp, and seniors to Mrs. Prewitt and Mr. Daut.

Freshmen should donate peas, sophomores carrots, juniors green beans, and seniors corn. All canned/boxed items are appreciated, but the items mentioned are the only ones that apply to the class points for the competition.
