Bonnie Rae Bailey, 61, of Nevada, Mo., formerly of Fort Scott, Kan., died Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2014, at Freeman Medical Center in Joplin, Mo. She was born on June 16, 1952, in Fort Scott, Kan., the daughter of Harold and Eva (Bowen) Graham. She married Larry Bailey on Nov. 28, 1970, in Fort Scott.

Bonnie was a member of the Fort Scott High School graduating class of 1970. She has been the office coordinator for the Fort Scott Community College Truck Driving School for 16 years.

She is survived by her husband, Larry, of the home; her mother, Eva Readinger, of Nevada; three sons, Justin Bailey and his wife, Amanda, and Jeremy Bailey and his wife, Lindsey, all of Spring Hill, Kan., and Ryan Bailey and his wife, Valerie, of Platt City, Mo.; two sisters, Vicky Ray, of Tulsa, Okla., and Jenet Hill and her husband, Martin, of Nevada; and 6 and 1/2 grandchildren, Madison, Dakota, Myla, Trevor, Shelby, Brayden, and one to be named upon birth.

The Revs. Chuck Russell and Jared Witt will conduct memorial services Saturday, Feb. 8, at the First Presbyterian Church, in Fort Scott, Kan. The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 p.m., Saturday, with the memorial service beginning at 2 p.m., under the direction of the Konantz-Cheney Funeral Home.
