Police arrest Kansas City area fugitive

Nevada Police report they have concluded an investigation with the arrest of a fugitive from the Kansas City area on a felony probation and parole violation warrant.

On April 3 at about 4 p.m., Nevada Police came into contact with the 18-year-old fugitive in the 1000 block of West Wooter and executed the warrant without incident.

The subject was identified as Carrisa Perry-man of Kansas City, Kan.

At the time of arrest, the subject was in possession of a suspected controlled substance.

Perryman is being held at the Vernon County Jail awaiting transfer to Wyandotte County, Kan.

Police are awaiting lab analysis on the suspected drugs prior to application for local warrants.
