LeeDonna York

LeeDonna York passed from this life on Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2014, at Freeman Hospital in Joplin, Mo., at the age of 45.

LeeDonna was born on Aug. 13, 1968, in Nevada, Mo., to Dixie Lee and Don Loiselle. She married Jim York in 1991, and to this union two sons were born. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, sister, aunt, and niece.

She was raised in Nevada, attending Nevada schools. LeeDonna courageously fought diabetes for 44 years, but ultimately an unfortunate accident claimed her life. She was very giving and upon her death, she presented two recipients the "gift of life" with her major organs.

In addition to her sons, Ethan and Evan York, she is survived by her mother, Dixie Lee Dickason Hendricks; grandson, Roper York; brother, Ronnie Loiselle; niece, Danielle Bemis and her husband, Phillip; great-nephews, Dylan and Dakota Bemis; aunts Delene Fulton and Diane Martin; and numerous cousins.

She was preceded in death by a sister, DeNita Hutchens; a brother, Richard Loiselle; and father, Don Loiselle.

A graveside service was held at 3 p.m., Monday, Aug. 18, in the City Cemetery in Stockton, Mo.
