Georgia Lee Oakes, 70, of Nevada, Mo., died Friday, Sept. 26, 2014, at Moore-Few Care Center, in Nevada. She was born on Jan. 10, 1944, in Leavonworth County, Kan., to Robert Downing and Laura Edna (Moorhead) Downing.
