One candidate, two open seats

Nevada City Clerk Bev Baker announced Friday that Annie Daugherty is the first candidate to file for one of the two Nevada City Council seats up for election on April 7, 2015.

The two seats are currently held by Seth Barrett and Jayne Novak, neither of whom have yet filed for the election.

The filing period for the April municipal election runs until 5 p.m., Nov. 18.
