Blanch Lucy Tracy

Blanch Lucy Tracy, 82, Nevada, Mo., was born Oct. 17, 1932, in Milo, Mo., and passed from this life on Friday, Dec. 5, 2014, at Moore-Few Care Center, in Nevada following an illness of several months. She was united in marriage to Lawrence R. Tracy on Oct. 7, 1982, and he preceded her in death on Jan. 7, 1982.

Blanch was raised in the Milo area. She later worked at the Nevada State Hospital for more than 30 years until her retirement. Blanch had a love for animals, she enjoyed quilting, fishing, and she also enjoyed traveling throughout the United States with Lawrence. She was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include two stepchildren, Steve Tracy and his wife, Amber, Belton, Mo., and Susie Baldwin, Nevada; eight stepgrandchildren; and several stepgreat-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one sister and one brother.

A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m., Monday, Dec. 8, at Newton Burial Park, in Nevada, with Pastor Roger Beach officiating.
