Artist Alice Lynn Greenwood has an exhibit of her artwork, titled "The Beauty of Change," on display in the P.E.O. Foundation Art Gallery inside the Haidee and Allen Wild Center for the Arts on the Cottey College campus. Her exhibit will be in the gallery through April 10.

Greenwood wrote of her exhibit, "After decades of adventure and exploration, my art making is replete with repeating motifs -- guiding sign posts along my path. Boldly defining lines and brilliantly pure colors. Contrasts of star sprinkled night skies and cerulean bright day scapes. The red of passion, the green of growth. The rhino, the river and wings. The serpent, the child, the woman and the heart.

"Changing, always changing, I am so very happy to be a partner in this twirling bliss."

Currently residing in Carthage, Greenwood is the director curator of artCentral at Hyde House. She holds an honors BA in studio art from Hendrix College in Arkansas.

The gallery is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, and later on the evenings of performances in the Center for the Arts.

The Center for the Arts is on the northeast corner of Austin and Tower streets in Nevada.
