Carole Marie Niles

Carole Marie Niles, 46, of Moundville, Mo., passed on to be with the Lord on April 19, 2015, at her home. She was born Dec. 23, 1968, in Maywood, Calif., the daughter of Ronald Eugene and Mildred Janette (Burris) Niles.

Carol attended school in California, then moved as a teenager to Galena, Mo. During her adult life she returned for a time to California before returning to Missouri in the early 1990s to make this area her home for the remainder of her life. Most of her working years were spent in the food service industry with the exception of a few years working at the DMV in Nevada. When time allowed, she loved to play Yahtzee, enjoyed music, and had a special spot in her heart for animals.

Those left behind to mourn her passing include her beloved mother, Mildred Janette Niles, of Moundville; her father, Ronald Niles, of the state of Nevada; her only daughter, Lavaunna Rose Walker, of Webb City; and one brother, Tommy Niles, of Nevada. She was preceded in death by one brother, Brian, who passed away on April 14, 2014.

Graveside services with interment for Carole Marie Niles are scheduled for 11 a.m., Thursday, April 23, at the Moundville Cemetery, in Moundville, Mo. Visitation will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., just prior to the service at Ferry Funeral Home, in Nevada.
