Jack L. Baines Sr.

Jack L. Baines Sr., 74, of Nevada, passed away Monday, April 27, 2015, at Medicalodge nursing home after a lengthy illness.

Jack was born to Orlena and Charlie Baines on May 17, 1941.

Before his health started failing him, Jack loved working on cars, he loved the outdoors, he loved hunting and fishing.

Jack is survived by two sisters, Charlie Guthrie and Sue Cyr, and one brother, Mike Quade, all of Nevada; three children, Jackie Baines Jr. of Omaha, Neb., Cody Baines of Camanche, Iowa, and a stepdaughter, Carrie Kirbey of Lamar; and nieces and nephews.

Jack is preceded in death by a grandson, Tanner Baines; and his parents, Orlena Quade and Charlie Baines.

There won't be funeral services. The body is being cremated as Jack wished.
