Patricia Alice Renfro

Patricia Alice Renfro, 84, Nevada, Mo., passed away on Monday, June 8, 2015, at her home, in Nevada, following a lengthy illness. Patricia was born on Feb. 1, 1931, in Randolph, Kan., to George and Ada (Niemeyer) Rupard. She was united in marriage to Hollie Renfro Jr. on July 29, 1947, in Nevada, Mo., and he preceded her in death in 1994.

Patricia, along with her family, came to Vernon County at a young age. As an adult she worked at various jobs including Nellie Don, in Nevada, as a seamstress, she was a cook for the Nevada schools, and also worked at the Nevada State Hospital for a number of years until her retirement. Patricia enjoyed attending garage sales, crocheting, quilting and collecting. She was a longtime member of Rebecca Lodge, in Walker.

Survivors include her three children, Deborah Renfro, Nevada, Dennis Renfro, Warsaw, Mo., and Holle Renfro, San Leon, Texas; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Hollie; two sisters, Virginia Ulbright and Audrey Earl.
