Woman arrested in drug investigation

A 27-year-old Nevada woman has been arrested in connection with a Nevada Police Department investigation in reference to the execution of a search warrant in the 1400 block of North Ash.

Recent police contact with the homeowner developed investigative leads towards suspected drug possession. A search warrant was secured and executed on June 11.

Suspected marijuana, pills, meth and drug paraphernalia were seized during the search. The individual was arrested and two small children were placed in the care of the Division of Family Services.

Investigating officers applied for an arrest warrant for the offender in question.

The Vernon County Associate Circuit Court issued a warrant for the 27-year-old Nevada resident identified as Kizzy Pace. Pace is currently being held in the Vernon County Jail on $12,000 cash or surety bond on the following charges: possession of marijuana, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, endangering the welfare of a child x2 counts, and possession of a controlled substance.
