Karon Kay Tritico

Karon Kay Tritico, 75, Nevada, Mo., passed away on Jan. 5, 2016, at her home in Nevada following a lengthy illness. Karon was born on Aug. 28, 1940, in Marysville, Kan., to Arthur and Betty Andrews. She was united in marriage to Joseph Tritico of Raytown, Mo., and he preceded her in death.

Survivors include three children, Debra Fales and David Cady, Raytown, Mo., Jaime Odom and his fiancé, Terisa DeNegre, of the home, and Michelle Bowman of Independence, Mo.; eight grandchildren, Jerry Stipancich, Amber Bowman, Andrew Konopasek, Austin Konopasek, Cole Wiederhold, Adam Konopasek, Cassidy Millee Rae Odom, and Abby Konopasek; and nine great-grandchildren. Karen is also survived by one sister, Earlene Tosspon and her husband, Carl, of Sedalia, Mo.; one nephew Clint Tosspon, Independence, Mo.; and one niece, Kim Caldwell, Trenton, Mo. In addition to her husband, Joseph, Karon was preceded in death by her parents; one nephew, Carl Lee Tosspon; and one great-granddaughter, Jaiden Elizabeth Stipancich.

A memorial service will be held from 2 to 4 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 30, at New Covenant Ministries, 532 S. Main St., Independence, MO.
