Lady Tigers place 8th at SWMO swim championships

The Nevada Lady Tigers swim team netted an eighth-place finish at Saturday's Southwest Missouri Swim Championship Finals at Foster Natatorium in Springfield. A grand total of 20 teams competed.

According to Lady Tigers swim coach Samantha Short, freshman Peyton Claypool placed sixth in the 100-yard breaststroke. Additionally, Nevada's relay team comprised of Makayla Haner, Peyton Claypool, Morgan Ernsbarger, and Carlie McCaffree placed fifth in the 200-yard medley relay.
