The Nevada/Vernon County Chamber of Commerce Annual Gala and Pacesetter Awards banquet is Saturday, March 5, at the Nevada Eagles Lodge.

The Chamber Gala, a fundraising event, is an opportunity to recognize local businesses and individuals that have stood out in service and commitment to excellence while providing a fun, laid-back networking environment, noted the chamber in its press release.

The evening is slated to begin with social hour at 6 p.m., followed by dinner at 7. Dinner will feature Chicken Cordon Bleu served with wild rice, Catalina blend vegetables, garden salad and variety dinner rolls catered by Count On Us Catering.

A vegetarian option is available upon request. Recognition and announcement of the 2015 Pacesetter Nominees are presented during the awards ceremony following dinner. Both live and silent auctions will take place throughout the evening.

This year's event will feature the popular dueling pianos duo that entertains the crowd with their non-stop musical array from Rat Pack to rap, classic rock to country -- whatever is requested by the audience.

If you or your business would like the opportunity to be recognized among the local business community, contact the chamber office. The attire is dress to impress or come casual. Reservations are due by Friday, Feb. 26 and can be reserved by calling the Chamber office.
