City water boil advisory lifted

According to a press release from Alliance Water Resources, the bacteria sample tests are good for the City of Nevada.

"No bacteria is present in the system. The water is safe for human consumption."

The boil advisory is officially lifted at 10:35 AM, Friday March 25.

The advisory had been in effect since late Wednesday evening when a loss of water pressure was apparently caused by a major leak in the city's water system.
