Norah Lynn Droney, 56, passed away Sunday morning, April 3, 2016, at Silverstone Place, in Rolla, Mo.

Norah was born in Kansas City, Mo., the daughter of Raymond Joseph and Betty Lee (Bonn) Droney. Norah was the fourth of seven children. She is survived by her siblings, John Droney, Sheryl Doggett, Susan Barthelow, Frederick Droney, Benjamin Droney, and Robert Droney.

Norah attended junior high in Nevada, Mo., and graduated from Warrensburg High School, in Warrensburg, Mo. After high school she attended University of Missouri-Columbia. Norah received a bachelor's of science in psychology from Drury University in December 2012. Norah graduated with honors, receiving the distinction of Summa Cum Laude.

Norah is survived by her four daughters, Bonnie Cox and husband, Nick, Jennifer Johnson and husband, Brian, Sarah Marler and husband, Kyle, and Jordan Fix and husband, Brandon. Norah was a loving "Nana" to four grandchildren: Logan, Meghan, Autumn, and Samantha. Norah will be sadly missed by her close friend, Gerald Jones.

Norah will be remembered for her deep love of nature. She enjoyed spending time out on the water, gardening, visiting the Zoo, and always had room in her heart for another rescued pet. Her favorite pastime was genealogy and spent many years researching the history of her family. Friends and family would describe Norah as spunky, mischievous and generous with a strong sense of faith. She was a wonderful sister and dear friend.

A memorial service will be held at 6:30 p.m., Friday, April 8, at the Central Community Church, in Rolla, Mo.
