Glenda Sue Jackson Olson

Glenda Sue Jackson Olson, 69, formerly of Nevada, Mo., passed away at her home in San Angelo, Texas, on April 13, 2016. Glenda was the first born child of Walter C. and Elsie M. (Jackson) Jackson, coming into the world in Kansas City, Mo.

Glenda grew up in Nevada, graduating from Nevada High School in 1965. She attended the University of Missouri, Columbia, obtaining a degree in Earth Science and later obtained her master's degree in teaching and taught for several years in the Kansas City area, before becoming the first principal of the newly constructed Blue Springs Middle School.

Glenda loved visiting with family and friends, and often came home for holidays and to class reunions where she loved revisiting those days long past and laughing with all those she loved.

Glenda was preceded in death by her parents, and leaves behind her husband, Len Olson; her son, Alex Moehlman, of Portland, Ore.; her brother, David Jackson and wife, Vonda, of Nevada; and numerous relatives and close friends. She will be dearly missed by all those who knew her.
