Griffons seeking host families for 2016 season

Friday, May 20, 2016

The Nevada Griffons Board of Directors is seeking host families for Griffons baseball players for the upcoming 2016 season.

Griffons players come from colleges throughout the country to play in Nevada, while host families and individuals agree to house a player for eight weeks, the duration of the season ---- providing a room and meals.

Currently, a significant number of homes are still needed for Griffons players. Additional information is available at www.nevadagriffons.org.

For families or individual interested, contact housing coordinator Dan Keller at 417-321-7722.

The Griffons season begins June 2, with the final regular-season game slated for July 24. The divisional playoff and the League Championship series runs July 26-30.
