Tiger freshman flatten Warrensburg, JV team prevails

The Nevada Tiger freshman basketball team defeated Warrensburg 56-33 Friday night for its fourth victory in five games this season. The Tigers (4-1) were led by forward Austin Bash who dropped in a game-high 24 points, while forward Dalton Gayman chipped in 20, with 10 of his points coming in the fourth quarter.

The Nevada Tigers junior varsity hoops squad edged Warrensburg 52-49 to improve to 5-3 overall. For the Tigers, sophomore Will Johnson drilled five 3-pointers en route to a game-high 19 points, while fellow Nevada sophomore Matt Thompson finished with 15 points.
