Cottey College head volleyball coach Marla Kannady-Foreman has announced the recent signings of two Missouri high school seniors ---- Rhandi Pendergraft of Cassville, and Geneva McGrath of Osceola.

Geneva McGrath of Osceola High School (front row, center) is surrounded by family as she signs a letter-of-intent to attend Cottey College and play for head coach Marla Kannady-Foreman's Comet volleyball team.

Pendergraft, who attends Cassville High School, won the team's "passing award" for recording the highest passing percentage at 89 percent. Pendergraft is versatile, as she has excelled playing three different positions ---- defensive specialist, setter and outside hitter.

"Rhandi is a true leader on and off the court and was always willing to do anything that was needed to be done," said Kannady-Foreman via Pendergraft's high school coach. "That includes going the extra mile in practices to make sure she was prepared."

In addition, Pendergraft was a member of the honor roll as well as a four-year letterman. Pendergraft is a member of the Art club, FBLA, and is student representative for Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Pendergraft has also played volleyball for Club Bear from 2008-16.
