Robert Thomas Hacker

Robert Thomas Hacker, 48, Olathe, Kan., formerly of Nevada, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 25, at Menorah Hospital in Overland Park, Kan. Robert was born Feb. 10, 1968, in Fort Scott, to Robert Lee and Carol Ann (Thomas) Hacker.

Robert attended Nevada High School graduating with the Class of 1986. He attended University of Missouri in Columbia and later received his Bachelor of Arts and his Master's Degree from Missouri Southern State University in Joplin. Robert was an Information Technology Specialist for several corporations and most recently had been employed by Sprint. He was an avid fan of the Kansas City Royals and the Nevada Griffins. His life revolved around his children and he was very devoted to all his family.

Survivors include four children, Jake Claassen Hacker, Raymore, Robert Michael Hacker, Raymore, Austin David Hacker, Raymore, Kendra Elise Hacker, Raymore; his mother, Carol Ann Hacker, Nevada; many cousins, extended family, and friends. He was preceded in death by his father Bob Hacker.

A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 28, at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada. The family will receive friends from 4-6 p.m. at the funeral home.
