The Vernon County Historical Society and Bushwhacker Museum will host its annual Night at the Museum from 5-8 p.m. in the museum at 212 W. Walnut St.

Museum coordinator Will Tollerton said approximately 20 out of the 300 tickets are still available and will be sold at the door.

New this year is a saloon where patrons can indulge in genuine root beer before embarking on a tour of the museum and jail. More than a dozen actors will bring the living history exhibits to life.

There will be a soup and pie meal catered by Gobbler's Roost.

A silent auction will feature unique crafts, antique furniture and other items.

The adventurous sort can sign up for a tour of the courthouse clock tower led by Tollerton. There is a cost and participants are limited to the first 10 to sign up. The tour will be conducted April 5.
