Harder talks prescription drug monitoring program at Lions

Alyson Harder, CEO of Heartland Behavioral Health Services, recently gave a presentation to the Nevada Lions Club about the Prescription Drug Monitoring Program (PDMP).* The city of Nevada and Vernon County are in the process of officially joining with St. Louis County and several other counties and municipalities to establish a PDMP.* Nevada/Vernon County will lead the way in Southwest Missouri through passing an ordinance and establishing our process through the St. Louis County PDMP secure database.* The program will provide the ability for monitoring the prescribing and dispensing of controlled substances.
