Janet Louise Miller

Janet Louise Miller (nee Lasley) passed away on Sunday, March 19, in Kirkwood, Mo. She was 72 years old.

Beloved mother of Valerie (Siome Goldenstein) and Nathan (Lauren Murphy); cherished grandmother of Rhys Miller and Benjamin Goldenstein; dear sister to Mary Jo Litten and Robert J. Lasley; dearly loved aunt, cousin, sister-in-law and friend to many. Her parents, Robert G. and Ida L. Lasley, and her brother, John D. Lasley, preceded her in death.

Janet graduated from Nevada High School in 1962. She completed her undergraduate degree in Spanish at the University of Missouri, Columbia, and her Master's Degree in Counseling at Washington University. She worked for many years in Career and Employment Services at St. Louis Community College at Meramec. She loved her family, friends, traveling, learning about other cultures and speaking Spanish. She was a longtime resident of Kirkwood, Mo.

The family would like to thank Manor Grove Nursing Home for the excellent care they provided.
