Nevada Police serve simultaneous drug search warrants

A two month long investigation by the Nevada Police Department came to a conclusion Friday. The Police Department has been gathering information about complaints on multiple residences in the 300 block of East Grand Street in regards to the use and distribution of illegal narcotics.

According to Nevada Chief of Police Casey Crain, both the Patrol and Investigation Divisions of the Nevada Police Department have been working together, conducting follow up investigations regarding complaints of illegal drugs in the neighborhood. Nevada Police has been working with the Nevada Housing Authority throughout this investigation.

Friday morning two teams of officers from the Nevada Police Department executed two separate search warrants in the 300 block of East Grand Street. During the operation, officers seized suspected methamphetamine and other drug related items. Currency suspected to be related the distribution of narcotics was also seized during the operations.

Both residences were occupied by subjects who had outstanding warrants for their arrest. In all, Nevada Police took five people into custody during the execution of the search warrants.

Nevada Police Detectives collected multiple items of evidentiary value from both scenes. The suspected methamphetamine from both locations will be sent to the Missouri State Highway Patrol laboratory for analysis.

Nevada Police took custody of five persons and transported them to the Vernon County Jail for holding.

The suspects have been identified as follows:

Nevada resident, Thirty nine year old, Jennifer Stark. The following charges have been filed by the Vernon County Court as follows: Possession of a controlled substance, felony D, keeping or maintaining a public nuisance, felony E, possession of marijuana, misdemeanor D, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, misdemeanor D. A bond was set at $10,000 for the felonies and $800 for the misdemeanor charges.

Nevada resident, 39 year old, Amy Pilcher, was taken into custody on outstanding warrants for her arrest.

For Nevada resident, 48 year old, Jerry D Williams, the following charges have been filed by the Vernon County Court as follows: possession of a controlled substance, felony D, trespassing misdemeanor D, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia misdemeanor D. A bond was set at $10,000 for the felonies and $750 for the misdemeanor charges.

Nevada resident, 39 year old, Daniel W. Pendergrass was taken into custody on outstanding warrants. The following charges have been filed by the Vernon County Court as follows: Delivery of a controlled substance felony C, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, felony E. A bond was set at $10,000.

Nevada resident, 30 year old, Kimberly Johnson, The following charges have been filed by the Vernon County Court as follows: Possession of controlled substance, felony D, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, misdemeanor D. A bond was set at $10,000 for the felonies, and $800 for the misdemeanor charges.
