The Nevada Griffons held their annual youth baseball camp on Wednesday at Lyons Stadium. The camp, held at Lyons Stadium Wednesday late morning and early afternoon, was comprised of two age groups, 5-8 year-old’s and 9-14 year-old’s. The groups received instruction from Griffons’ players and coaching staff, including on the fundamentals of baseball.
Campers will be honored during a graduation ceremony, slated for Sunday, June 25 at Lyons Stadium, with the festivities taking place at 6:15 p.m., as camp attendees will be recognized on the field prior to the Griffons MINK League contest with the Joplin Outlaws.
