The Nevada R-5 Board of Education voted 7-0, to increase breakfast and lunch prices by 10 cents for students during the coming school year. This is the sixth consecutive year meal prices have been increased.

R-5 Superintendent Tyson Beshore told the board the increase brings the district to within 3 cents of being at the level they are supposed to be.

This will increase lunch prices at the high school to $1.90, the middle school to $1.80 and elementary schools to $1.65. Adult lunches will be $2.75. Breakfast prices at the high school will increases to $1.20 at the high school, $1.15 at the middle school and $1.10 at the elementary schools. Adult breakfast prices will be $2.
