Middle school Tigers fall to Carthage

The Nevada Tigers seventh and eighth-grade basketball teams were upended Monday against host Carthage. The Nevada eighth-grade A-team fell 59-16, while the Nevada eighth-grade B-team was defeated, 56-12. The loss moves the A-team to 1-5 overall, and the B-team — to 0-5.

Nevada’s seventh-grade A-team (5-2) was derailed 50-26, while the Nevada seventh-grade B-team was beat, 46-13. Case Sanderson paced Nevada in the A-game, with a team-high 11 points.
