June Teetor Fecht, 89, Nevada, passed away May 31, at Nevada Regional Medical Center. She was born June 23, 1928, in Lexington, Neb., to George William (Bill) Teetor and Lowrean Rutherford Teetor.

June and her siblings moved to Idaho with her mom Lowrean and step-father Harold Stark. In 1946 June graduated high school in Mountain Home, Idaho. June attended nurses training at St. Alphonsus Hospital in Boise, Idaho, graduating as a registered nurse in 1949.

June married Gerald Fletcher in 1949, and to that union three children were born: Gary, James and Lowrean (Rene). June later returned to Missouri with James and Rene.

June worked as a nurse at the Nevada State Hospital until her retirement in July 1990. She enjoyed helping others and loved sharing her memories of so many of the patients that touched her life.

June married Thomas Fecht June 23, 1970. She and Tom enjoyed taking drives in the country, trying new restaurants, visiting casinos, watching Mizzou basketball and St. Louis Cardinals baseball and enjoying nature from their deck while surrounded by their cats. June enjoyed playing Bingo at the Elks and cherished the lasting friendships she made there.

June was preceded in death by her father Bill Teetor, mother Lowrean Stark, step-father Harold Stark, sister Joan Teetor Shelton, brother John Stark, son James Fletcher and son-in-law George Simmons.

June is survived by her husband Thomas Fecht, of the home; son, Gary (Sharon) Fletcher, of Mountain Home, Idaho; daughter, Rene Simmons, of Nevada; granddaughters, Janna (Billy) Fikes, of Kuna, Idaho; Jami (Jeff) Salyers, of Springfield, Mo.; Shauna (Scott) Smith, of Raymore, Mo.; and Courtney Simmons (Trisha Stubblefield), of Nevada; great-grandchildren Zachrey and McKenzi Salyers, Tré and Brittney Fikes and Hayden and Avery Smith; step-children Curt (Linda) Fecht, Cheri Fecht Hignutt, Cindy Harris and Clay Fecht; and their children and grandchildren.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
