Lisa Dawn (Hagerman) Stark

Lisa Dawn (Hagerman) Stark, 56, formerly of Nevada, passed away on Monday, Nov. 5, 2018, at her home in Hemet, Calif. The daughter of Roy Hagerman and Rita Nall, she was born Jan. 8, 1962, in El Dorado Springs, Mo. She married Dann D. Stark on June 25, 1987, and he survives of the home.

Lisa graduated from Nevada High School in 1980 and then attended the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg obtaining a BS Degree in Early Childhood Elementary Education. Following her marriage to Dann they moved to Colorado where they lived for 28 years. They then moved to Hemet, Calif., where they have resided for the past three years. Lisa taught for 16 years in Kansas and Colorado. In 2012, after being diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease she felt she needed to give up teaching, a job that she loved.

In addition to her husband, Dann, survivors include two sons, Jordann Stark and Jamie Stark, both of Hemet, Calif.; mother and stepfather, Rita and Ben Nall, Nevada; three sisters, Jennifer Hagerman, Nevada, Karen Goodwin, Sheldon, and Terry Hayes, Nevada; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Roy Hagerman; grandparents, Don and Letha Giger, and Elva Joy Hagerman.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 18, at the First Baptist Church in Nevada.

Memorials are suggested to Crohn’s Foundation or Vernon County Cancer Relief in care of Ferry Funeral Home.
