Tiger tracksters shine at recent meets

The Nevada Middle School seventh and eighth-grade track-and-field teams have continued to impress as they enter the home-stretch of the season.

Nevada’s seventh and eighth-grade girls' teams netted a pair of second-place finishes, April 18, at the seven-school Webb City Redbird Relays. Additionally, the Nevada eighth-grade boys placed sixth, and the NMS seventh-grade boys, seventh.

Nevada then returned to action for the April 23 Joplin Invitational. Nevada's seventh-grade girls collected a third-place finish, while the other team results are currently unavailable.

Nevada then concluded last week at the El Dorado Springs Bulldogs' Relays on Friday. As of press time Monday, team results were unavailable.
