Nevada High School senior outfielder Jayden Ast signed a letter-of-intent, on Wednesday, to continue his baseball career at the collegiate level with NCAA Division III Iowa Wesleyan University. The IWU baseball team competes in the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC), and is coming off a tough spring campaign, concluding the season 8-30-1 overall. Located in Mount Pleasant, Iowa, IWU is a four-year (private) liberal arts institution. In addition to baseball, Ast has also competed in basketball and cross country at Nevada High School.
