Lynn Dean Sheridan

Lynn Dean Sheridan, 64, Nevada, Mo., passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2020, at Nevada Regional Medical Center, in Nevada, following a lengthy illness. Lynn was born Sept. 5, 1955, in Nevada, to Theodore (Ted) and Darlene (Phipps) Sheridan.

Lynn graduated from Sheldon High School and attended Southern Missouri State. Lynn lived in the Nevada and Sheldon, Mo., area most of his life. In the last 30 years he owned properties in Nevada which he would rent out and work on.

He was an avid reader with a preference for American history, historical biographies, and fantasy. Lynn loved camping, television and films, strategy board games, and first edition Dungeons and Dragons. He followed politics and was always outspoken.

Survivors include two children, Quinn Sheridan, Jefferson City, Mo., and Breanna Sheridan (Steve), Los Angeles, Calif.; four grandchildren, William Carter, Gage Sheridan, Tristan Ellifrits, and Chloe Sheridan; three sisters, Delila Brown (Bill), Lee’s Summit, Dolores Honey (Jim), Carthage, and Phyllis Sprenkle (Paul), Sheldon; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, March 21, at Ferry Funeral Home, in Nevada. Burial will follow in Sheldon Cemetery in Sheldon, Mo.

Memorials are suggested in his memory to the American Heart Association in care of Ferry Funeral Home.
