County COVID-19 update delayed until Tuesday

An update on county COVID-19 numbers wasn't available Monday when the Daily Mail contacted the Vernon County Health Department. Administrator Steve Durnell stated that the department had been inundated with back-to-school shots Monday and would have an update available Tuesday morning. School for many of the area districts begin today (Tuesday, Aug. 25).

The Vernon County Health Department announced on July 13 that they would no longer be making individual press releases related to COVID-19 cases, but would do weekly updates on Monday mornings.
