Nevada Youth Football League kicks off season against Webb

The Nevada Youth Football League kicked off its season Saturday at Logan Field.

The sixth-grade Tigers doubled up the Webb City Blue, 16-8 — while the fifth-grade Tigers were defeated by Webb, 34-14. The fourth-grade Tigers prevailed over the Blue, 12-6 — while the third-grade Tigers fell to Webb in a double overtime thriller, 20-18.

The third through sixth-grade Tigers return to Logan Field for homes dates on Sept. 19, Oct. 3, and Oct. 10. Games kickoff with the sixth-grade matchup at 10 a.m
