Major (retired) James Osborn was the guest speaker at Wednesday morning's Veterans Day program held in the Ella Maxwell Performing Arts Center at the Nevada High School. Osborn spoke about sacrifice and giving thanks to veterans, as well as their families. The program (coordinated by the AFJROTC program and NHS student council) also included patriotic readings, musical performances, recognition of local veterans, and a history and performance of Taps. See page 8 for more photos of Veterans Day events.
