Deanna Dee Meek

Deanna Dee Meek, 46, of Nevada, Mo., passed away at her home, Aug. 6, 2021. She was born May 23, 1974, in Joplin, Mo., to Richard Galen Garren Sr. and Emily Viola (Irwin) Garren. She had worked as a Certified Nurse Assistant at area nursing homes. Deanna enjoyed reading, spending time with family, baking and singing.

Deanna is survived by her mother, Emily Hogan, Nevada, Mo.; two sons, Joshua Garren and Joseph Meek, both of Nevada, Mo.; one daughter, Lashawna Garren, Nevada, Mo.; one brother, Richard Garren Jr., Butler, Mo.; one sister, Christi (Gary) Fenton, Nevada; and four grandchildren, Arabella, Alexander, Elijah, and Mackenzie. She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Dalen Garren Sr.; one brother, Kenneth Dale Garren; and a nephew, Anthony Scott Ross.

A family celebration of life is scheduled.
