The Nevada High School girls tennis team’s busy week continued Thursday with a home match against Mt. Vernon.

Fittingly, the Lady Tigers earned four wins in their fourth event in four days.

Hallie Elkinton won her no. 2 singles match 8-6, Abbi Baldwin won no. 4 singles 8-1, and Kourtnee Vestal won no. 5 singles 8-4.

Baldwin and Laura Kimmell also picked up a win in no. 2 doubles, 8-5.

At a tournament Wednesday in Monett, Susannah Kimmell took second in no. 2 singles, while the no. 2 doubles team of Vestal and Alissa Stutesman also finished in second.

Elkinton added a fifth-place finish in no. 1 singles, while Baldwin and Laura Kimmell took fifth in no. 1 doubles.
