Larmer Gibson

Larmer Gibson died Saturday, Jan. 24, 2004, at Appleton City Manor at the age of 81. He was born Aug. 17, 1922, the son of Ira and Ella (Johnson) Gibson in Bloomfield, Neb. Larmer was a retired farmer and a member of the First Baptist Church in Rich Hill. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Newton Gibson. Larmer is survived by one brother, Irvin Gibson; and one sister, Myra Stevener; four nephews, and several great-nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 2 p.m., on Wednesday, Jan. 28, at the Sheldon-Booth Chapel, Rich Hill, with Brother Bill Perkey officiating. Organist will be June Yarick. Musical selections are "Standing on the Promises" and "How Great Thou Art." Casketbearers will be Darrell Stevener, Phil Stevener, Charles Gibson, Leaster Gibson, Mike Black and Josh Sullins. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Butler, Mo. Arrangements by Sheldon-Booth Funeral Home, Rich Hill, Mo.
