Crae Beth and Coy Donald Dighero Hutchison

Mr. and Mrs. Thomas F. Hutchison, Nevada, are proud to announce the birth of twins Crae Beth Dighero Hutchison and Coy Donald Dighero Hutchison. Crae Beth was born at 12:55 p.m., on Aug. 30, 2004. She weighed 5 pounds, 10 ounces, and measured 18 inches. Coy Donald was born at 12:56 p.m., on Aug. 30, 2004. He weighed 5 pounds, and measured 18 inches. Paternal grandparents are Gary and MaryAnn Speight, El Dorado Springs. Maternal grandparents are Donald and Susan Dighero, nevada. Maternal great-grandparents are Herbert and Lorna Dighero, Nevada, and Noble and Gladys Warner, Lamar.

Deaths

Roger Elden Mather

Roger Elden Mather, 53, died Aug. 30, 2004. Services were held at Ferry Funeral Home on Sept. 3, 2004, at 10 a.m., with Glyn Davies officiating. Musical selections were "Love Remains" and "I'll be there." Pallbearers were Larry Kerbs, Jim Nichols, Loel Wilson, Chuck Dahmer, Monte Sheets and Huleigh Wilson. Honorary pallbearers were Tom Wheeler, Norman Garton and Lonnie McWilliams. Interment was in Sheldon Cemetery, Sheldon. Arrangements were by Ferry Funeral Home.

Charlene Lightfoot

Charlene Lightfoot, Sheldon, died Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2004, at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis. Family information and funeral arrangements will be announced later by Ferry Funeral Home.

Obituaries

Helen Marie Riddle Harman

Helen Marie Riddle Harman, 78, Sheldon, passed away at 11:45 p.m., Sept. 2, 2004, at St. John's Regional Medical Center in Joplin. She was born in Sheldon on Dec. 31, 1925, to T.W. and Opal Tyree Riddle. A graduate of Sheldon High School, Class of 1943, she married Ira L. Harman on Aug. 3, 1946, and have made their home in Sheldon for most of their married life.

A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, she was known by many as a wonderful cook, sharing the fruits of her labor with friends and relatives alike.

Mrs. Harman was a full-time homemaker, but had worked part-time at various jobs over the years, including switchboard operator for the Sheldon Telephone Co.

Survivors include her husband, Ira L. Harman, of the home; two sons, James M. Harman, Anchorage, Alaska, Thomas L. and wife Mary Ann, Midland, Texas; one daughter, Connie, L. Channel and husband Dennis, Richmond, Mo.; four grandchildren, James M. Harman Jr., Nevada, Tina M. Demieville, Midland, Texas, Sharron M. Loyd and Shannon N. Braley, both of Richmond, Mo. Also surviving are one step-grandson, Frederick J. Rehkow Jr., Spokane, Wash.; three great-grandsons; three step great-grandsons; plus many other family members including nieces, Linda Elderton, Sheldon, Janet Perrin, Kansas City; and nephew John Hornecker, Lathrop, Mo.

Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2004, at Beeny-Ferry Funeral Home, Sheldon, with pastor John Swatosh officiating, interment will follow in Sheldon Cemetery, Sheldon. Friends may call now and until Sunday evening at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada. Friends may call monday morning at Beeny-Ferry Funeral Home, Sheldon, and until the hour of service. The family receives friends 6-7 p.m. on Monday at the Beeny-Ferry Funeral Home in Sheldon.
