Kyle Joshua Nelson

Ashley Beisley and Josh Nelson, Nevada, are proud to announce the birth of their son, Kyle Joshua Nelson. Kyle was born at 6:43 p.m., Oct. 13, 2004, at Nevada Regional Medical Center. He weighed 8 pounds, 7 ounces. Paternal grandparents are Paula Hamilton, Aurora, Colo., and Glen Nelson, of Colorado. Paternal great-grandparents are Elise and Curtis Nelson, Walker, and Karen Pugh, Lakewood, Colo. Maternal grandparents are Cathy Beisley, Nevada, Dudley Sawyer, Nevada, and the late Mark Beisley. Maternal great-grandparents are Bonnie Beisley, Sheldon, and the late Ruby and Bill Newton.

Bertha Mabel Shoults

Bertha Mabel Shoults, 101, died Oct. 16, 2004. Services were held at Newton Burial Park on Oct. 19, at 1 p.m., with the Rev. Paul Mooney officiating. Interment was in Newton Burial Park. Arrangements were by Ferry Funeral Home.

Jerry Douglas Brewer Sr.

Jerry Douglas Brewer Sr., 65, died Oct. 16, 2004. Graveside services were held at the El Dorado Springs City Cemetery on Oct. 18, at 2:30 p.m., with the Rev. Paul Mooney officiating. Pallbearers were Terry Turner, Butch Leer, Dwayne Long, Kenny Tenholder, Kristopher Long and Anthony Van Dyk. Honorary pallbearer was Jimmy Leer. Interment was in El Dorado Springs City Cemetery in El Dorado Springs. Arrangements were by Ferry Funeral Home.

Bonnie Guy Tummons

Bonnie Guy Tummons, 70, Nevada, died Friday, Oct. 15, 2004, at his home in Nevada following a lengthy illness. He was born on Dec. 15,1933, in Willard, Mo., to Orden Edward Tummons and Lassie Viola Gentry Tummons. He married June Laverne Carroll on April 29, 1962, in Camdenton, Mo. She preceded him in death on April 27, 2003.

He was born and raised in Willard, Mo. He came to Vernon County as a young adult and spent the remainder of his life here. He was a member of the First Assembly of God Church, Nevada.

Survivors include two sisters, Rachel Pennell, Jasper, Mo., and Fran Dillinger, Strafford, Mo.; one brother, Oran Tummons, Elkland, Mo.; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 21, at Click Cemetery, Nevada, with Ken Fomicola officiating. Friends may call now and until 10:30 a.m. on Thursday at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada.
