Breneman, Riddle exchange vows

Saturday, Oct. 30, 2004, at 2 o'clock in the afternoon, Genevieve Margie Breneman and James Matthew Riddle exchanged wedding vows in Peace College Chapel, Raleigh, N.C. Vows were solemnized by Bishop David Carroll.

Parents of the bride are Keith and Carol Breneman, Apex, N.C. Grandparents of the bride are Bill and Margie Breneman and Margie Swarnes, all of Nevada. The groom's parents are Jimmy and Michele Riddle Fuquay, Varina, N.C.

As the Peace College organist played traditional wedding music the bride, adorned in a gown of matte satin, enhanced by embroidery and seed pearls, and three-quarter length sleeves with a chapel train, was escorted to the altar by her father. Her finger-tip veil was held in place with seed pearls and white roses. Her only jewelry, a diamond necklace, given to her by her father for her 21st birthday.

Cynthni Howard, served her sister as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Nicole Allen, friend of the bride, Alyssa Howard, niece of the bride, and Nondi Breneman, sister of the bride. The attendants wore floor-length dresses of matte satin with cummerbund waists, lightly embroidered and beaded bodices in deep heather colors.

Flower girls were Shelby Breneman and Abigail Breneman, nieces of the bride. The girls wore tea-length dresses of white chiffon, white satin gloves, and white flowers in their hair.

The groom wore a black tuxedo. Jon Riddle served his brother as best man. Groomsmen were Tyler Smith, Eric Hamen and Matt Kesler, friends of the groom. Ringbearers were Jackson Howard and William Breneman, nephews of the bride. All wore black pin-stripped tuxedos.

Following the wedding, a reception was held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Stake Center, Apex, N.C.

The newlyweds attend college and are also employed at jobs. After a short honeymoon to the coast, they are a home in Apex.

Sherman Breneman, brother of the bride, and Bill and Margie Breneman attended the wedding.
