Emma A. Ward

Emma A. Ward, 93, of Lee's Summit, Mo., died at Lee's Summit Hospital on Tuesday, Dec. 14. She was born Dec. 24, 1910, in Nevada, to Carl and Stella (Martin) Stephenson.

She was a long time member of Lee's Summit United Methodist Church. She was a member of the PEO.

She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Manes of Lee's Summit, Mo.; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, James H. Ward.

Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 16, at Lee's Summit United Methodist Church. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Cremation to follow; private interment in Lee's Summit Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Powell Gardens, 1609 NW US Highway 50, Kingsville, MO 64061-9000.
