Georgia Wallace, 70, of Nevada, died on Saturday, Dec. 25, 2004, at Christian Health Care of Nevada following a lengthy illness. She was born on May 12, 1934, in La Cross, Kan., to Wesley E. Adkinson and Ruth E. Waln Adkinson. She married Calvin L. Wallace on Nov. 18, 1950, in Eureka Springs, Ark., and he preceded her in death on April 20, 1995.

Georgia grew up in Ottawa, Kan., and has lived in both Nevada and Sheldon for the past 40 years.

She is survived by two sons, Denny Wallace and his wife, Debbie, of Nevada, Allen Wallace and his wife, Merle, of Joplin; one daughter, Terry Millirons and her husband, John, of Lamar; six grandchildren, Jennifer Lanham, Valerie Wallace, Ryan Wallace, Kim King, Kelsy Vannaman and Katie Wallace; four great-grandchildren; one brother, Willard Adkinson of Williamsburg, Kan.; and one sister, Doris Brechiesen of Quenemo, Kan. In addition to her husband Calvin, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Geraldine Matteson and Alice Broast.

Funeral Services were held at 2 p.m. on today, Dec. 28, at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada with the Rev. Jim McCoy officiating. Interment followed in Moore Cemetery, Nevada.
