Robert Foster Collier, 77, Nevada, died Monday morning Feb. 21, 2005, at his home in Nevada. He was born June 14, 1927, in Parsons, Kan., to Robert Foster Collier and Thelma Leasta Lundy Collier.

Mr. Collier was raised in Nevada. He served in the U.S. Army in World War II in the Pacific and was trained in demolitions and supply. After the war, he lived in California for many years where he worked as a truck driver, retiring to Nevada.

Survivors include one son, Kelley Collier, Lakeland, Fla.; one daughter, Shannon Kay Collier, Red Oak, Iowa; four granddaughters; two grandsons; one half-brother, Jack Collier, Grants Pass, Ore.; one half-sister, Patty Gordon, Creres, Calif.; and also survived by friend and caregiver, Elroy White, Nevada.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 25, at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada. Friends may call now and until the hour of service at the funeral home.
